"Working with David was extremely easy and fun! He was on time, well prepared, and knew what he was doing. The use of the Inspirational Pinterest board to show us some different poses was really helpful as we had only a few poses in mind. David’s communication before and after the shoot was top-notch and made the planning phase a breeze. He booked us for one hour, but graciously stayed past by a little to allow us time to change into different outfits halfway through our session. We received our edited photos one week after taking them as promised and we were extremely pleased! "I met with David over the weekend in Santa Cruz for a family photo shoot. This is actually my first, as any and all photos are taken by me so I am never in them. I wasn’t sure how it would go, I have a 4 year old and a teen. David was great from the get-go. Prior to the shoot he suggested the location and sent me the waiver for review. He was incredibly professional and was in close contact leading up to the day of. At the beach we went over the waiver again wherein he explained that I could revoke my consent at any time of his usage of our photos on his site. On to the photo shoot itself! I had no idea what to do and was super grateful for David’s direction. He gave me some ideas on what to do and then began snapping some candids of us. At one point my 4 year old son began asking to take photos and David showed him his camera and allowed him to snap shots throughout our time, which I thought was really awesome, above and beyond. We did some beach shots, and then moved to the Boardwalk. David was intuitive to my kids needs and was super willing to accommodate us. We did decide to end a bit early as my son was just done and it was chilly. David let me know that I would have the photos in about a week. Having done some editing myself in the past, I know it can be time consuming. He surpassed my expectations though when he sent me a link containing the edited photos he took, as well as the unedited photos my son took, in two days! I absolutely loved the photos and appreciate that he was able to capture our goofy side, as well as some lovely shots of my kids playing. 10/10 would love to hire David for future shoots!!"
